Coyotes

Humans,
I hear that some dogs in our neighborhood have been eaten by coyotes that have wandered down from the hills. That's scary. Humans, why do you allow this to happen? Who's side are you on anyway, your pets or those wild creatures? I realize they have to kill and eat other animals to survive, but why us? Can't you do something about it? Why is it so necessary to protect them? They belong in a zoo or out in the wild, not in a civilized urban neighborhood. And this nonsense about we're taking over their habitat? Well things change, progress you know. They have a deed to the land? I think not. Anyway whatever it takes, we domesticated urban animals need to be protected from them. Maybe if they started eating humans, you would understand.
